Cursed Alchemy: Unveiling the Eldritch Awakening

In a forgotten hamlet nestled by the seaside, a private investigator named Samuel, haunted by his past, is drawn to investigate a peculiar cult based on a cursed relic. Determined to break the curse and find redemption, he recruits an enigmatic apothecary named Evelyn to aid him in his quest.
Samuel wants to break a curse involving an ancient talisman that has brought darkness upon the village. Ignoring the many occult warnings, they venture into the depths of a musty catacomb, armed with a candle to ward off the encroaching shadows.
As they delved in deeper, Samuel and Evelyn uncover a hidden chamber adorned with arcane symbols and guarded by a slumbering entity. To break the curse, they must perform a forbidden ritual using a pentacle and an awakening ritual found within a grimoire. However, they soon realise that the ritual requires them to release something they once locked away: a truth that threatens to consume them.
Haunted by visions and tormented by eldritch nightmares, Samuel and Evelyn continue their perilous journey. They face demented apparitions and encounter a toothy demonologist, who warns them of the price they must pay. The memory of the ritual will haunt them forever, forever altering their perception of reality. They'll go mad!
With the aid of Evelyn's profound knowledge of the occult and Samuel's unwavering determination, they perform the final incantation. As the room clears around them, Samuel and Evelyn find themselves standing in a quaint hamlet bathed in an otherworldly light. The curse has been broken, but they realise that in doing so, they will live the rest of their lives with false memories. They are left questioning their own identities, little do they know that they are haunted by the price they paid to save the village.
